The best way to receive timely updates and alerts about effective advocacy for the people of Africa is to sign up for our eNetwork . You can also:
  • Write a letter from our website on food aid, farm policy or both!
  • Visit your member of Congress' office.
  • Call your member of Congress. To take action, dial the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and request to be connected to your Congressperson. You can also call their local office.
  • Hold a fundraiser to support advocacy efforts or the work of humanitarian organizations such as the World Food Project . World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine and Oxfam’s Hunger Banquet are both great ways to help worthy organizations with a focus on hunger.
  • Organize a prayer vigil and include in your prayers the farmers of Africa and all those suffering from food insecurity or unjust foreign farm policies.
  • Check out our site for the most up-to-date news, analysis and events postings.
  • Find some other creative means of building support for reform of US agricultural policy.
  • Visit our further resources page to find other organizations and reports working on the issue.
