There are many ways to work toward ending the debt crisis in Africa. The easiest way to stay informed and receive action alerts is by signing up for our eNetwork . But it is also important that you take the initiative on an issue you believe in. Here are some ideas:

•  Write to your representatives in Congress, asking them to take action within the United States government. You can send a letter directly from our website or draft one of your own.
• Hold a fundraiser for our organization or other organizations such as JubileeUSA who are advocating for debt cancellation. Work within your church, school, or community.
  
• Host a showing of the film "The Debt of the Dictators," and utilize Jubilee's discussion guide and odious debt fact sheets. These resources are available from JubileeUSA's webpage.
• Write a letter to the editor for your hometown newspaper.

• Join the ONE Campaign in the fight against poverty. From there, you can sign the declaration, buy wristbands and t-shirts, and host banners on your website.
